Gift Giving Time

Well it's the holidays and I thought I would take the time to write about my gift wrapping skills.  Well there's really no skill about gift wrapping I mean how hard is it to wrap a box?  Well I am about to get out the big gift wrap bin that I organized last year.  I will do a post about how I store and organize all my holiday essentials right down to the bells and curl ribbons.  But for now, I am about to wrap a few last minute gifts I plan to deliver tomorrow to a few family members.

These are items I know will surely get used in no time fast!

I decided to give practical gifts, items that have a great use for now and potentially later.  The basic necessities in my life are lip balms, a grab and go wallet, hand creams, pocket gloves, bath bubbles & bars you get the idea.  The simple staples of gifts to give are my go to favorites and I thought they would be nice favorites for my relatives.

Packaging was found throughout the house; I like to re-use product
packaging such as the Truvia box
it was perfect for the gloves and lipbalm.

Now, just because these gifts featured are basic items, doesn't mean I will skimp on the gift wrap decor.  I plan on packaging up these beauties in a pretty holiday box topped with a bow.  I want to actually make this a holiday present for someone to open.

All wrapped up and ready to give!

Another of my favorite gifts to give is coffee or cocoa packets.  A few weeks ago I lucked out and found several boxes of Starbucks Via on clearance at Target (my favorite store by the way, love me some Target shopping).  These boxes of Starbucks Via were a mere $1.56 a box!  Talk about a super saver deal and that wasn't even with coupons.

Organizational Tidbit:  check those clearance racks at your local
stores there are fantabulous deals to be found on those shelves!

So after purchasing several boxes of Starbucks Via the wheels were turning in my head on thinking of ways to cleverly package the holiday gift for my cousin (who by the way is a Starbucks FANATIC!!!).  I immediately thought of this cute gift package...a simple Starbucks paper cup with a to go lid to boot!

I was able to obtain an extra coffee cup
(free of charge, Thank You Starbucks inside Target)
as I purchased my favorite Caramel Macchiato.

The Starbucks Via package contains 6 packets of flavorful coffee.

The Starbucks Via packets fit nicely into
the small sized paper coffee cup.

I closed up the package by applying the lid and topped it with  a
pretty green bow to finish off the decoration.

So there you have it, my gift wrapping ways.  Nothing to fancy but good enough for creating a festive holiday packages don't you agree?

Happy Holidays, Ebby
